Nick, when I read your first comment about homonymical phoneme meanings I can't help but focus on your use of 'analogous' and I am presented with scatological connotations.

That's a good point Dave, I spent some time in Firefight last night and it was a blast! There are really fun portions of the campaign too, it's just that they are all sandwiched between the bluesy saxophone nausea of the nighttime lowlight mission of the Rookie as he finds the clues. Now that I've beat the game on Normal you'd think I'd be done with that portion of it, but alas, I am an achievement junkie. I still think the n00bian Star Fighters should reassemble and take on the frag pile again some day...

I have only played a few hours of it and all was spent in Firefight mode. I however am completely hooked. Had one of the best times of my gaming life doing so, ranked near (but not overtaking) the time we shot up the GR frag pile.

No...I think it would be unfazered. Seriously, I think you've just stumbled upon a new bit of lexicon for the Star Trek world.

Next, you should copyright this, put it on 10000 t-shirts, and travel the Star Trek convention circut and sell said shirts for $10 apiece.

No matter how many times Data shot the borg, it remained unphased. Or would that be unphasered?

Mr. Rock, I beg to differ. I use faze all the time. For example:

When I was younger, I went through a faze where I used a piece of rope as a belt.

Actually, this made me think of how words could be applied in ways other than their original meanings. For example:

disinform: giving information in an insulting way
carpet: a animal companion for the automobile
fingernail: analogous to pushpin

This has nothing to do with your original post. I will shut up now.

Yup Diane, that's how it went down. And that's why people stopped mocking you for wearing men's sunglasses.

Thanks for the concession Jan. Broken as they are, the squint definitely helps keep them in place. Not sure about the hat though...

So that's where my sunglasses went! I must have left them at Sara's and you accidently (?) picked them up from there.
